Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office press release:
On 12/10/17 at approximately 3:00 a.m., Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office Deputies were dispatched to the report of a suspicious vehicle traveling back and forth on Felt Road.
Sheriff’s Deputies arrived on scene and observed an older model blue BMW parked on Felt Road disabled. Deputies exited their patrol vehicles, at which time Travis Michael Anderson began walking away from them. Anderson failed to comply with the deputies orders and Anderson sat in the front driver’s seat. Anderson was subsequently detained and searched.
In Anderson’s possession, deputies located $3585.00 in cash, Xanax, Soma, Norcos, 11 grams of Cocaine, a digital scale, and a loaded 9mm pistol.
Anderson was arrested and booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility without incident for violation of H&S 11350(a) (Possession of a Controlled Substance), H&S 11351 (Possession of a Controlled Substance for Sales), PC 25850(a) (Possession of a Loaded Firearm), PC 25400(a)(1) (Carry Concealed Weapon in Vehicle), PC 12022(a)(1) (Possession of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony). Bail has been set at $50,000.
