Two people were quickly taken into custody following an armed robbery at the Union 76 station on Alliance Road late this morning.

The two men were arrested at the Manila mini-golf center after an alert HSU police officer tailed a vehicle that matched the description of the alleged robbers’ car down Samoa Boulevard, according to Det. Sgt. Todd Dokweiler of the Arcata Police Department, who was on-scene in Manila for the arrest.

The scene is still being processed, but Dokweiler told the Outpost’s Andrew Goff that police have located a handgun that matches the description of one used in the robbery.
