July 13, 2017 the Trinity County Sheriff’s Narcotics Task Force, United States Forest Service Law Enforcement Officers, and Campaign Against Marijuana Planting (CAMP), conducted a marijuana raid and eradication operation in the Shasta Trinity National Forest.
Officers eradicated over 58,700 marijuana plants; no suspects were located. This complex of marijuana grows was the largest site found in the last several years on public lands in Trinity County.
