The clouds overhead are just the beginning of a storm that’s expected to drop rain and hail on Humboldt County though tomorrow night.
The National Weather Service of Eureka reports that isolated thunderstorms are also possible Sunday.
According to the NWS’ extended forecast we can expect rainy weather until at least Wednesday.

A cold upper-level disturbance will move east across the region during Sunday, leading to showers and isolated thunderstorm development near the coast.
Heavier showers and storms will be capable of producing small hail that may accumulate on area roads. Hazardous driving conditions can be expected if hail is observed on roadways.
