A body was reportedly found along the Eel River in Garberville today.

After receiving a tip form a reader, The Outpost reached out to the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office this afternoon to obtain more information.

The dispatcher informed us that the incident was an active investigation, and that the on-duty sergeant would not be able to speak on the matter at this time.
