Eureka Police Department press release: 

On 11-02-17 at about 10:12 am, an officer of the Eureka Police Department conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle at 3rd and B streets. The vehicle yielded and the driver was contacted. Shortly after contacting the driver, he abruptly drove off east on 3rd Street. A pursuit was initiated. The vehicle traveled through several intersections without stopping for stop signs. Due to the threat the drivers actions posed to the civilians in the area, the pursuit was terminated. The vehicle was last seen traveling south on ‘N’ Street from 4th Street.

A short time later, officers located the vehicle unoccupied and parked in a driveway at the 1600 block of Nedra Street. The vehicle was processed and towed from the scene.
