Who touched Humboldt’s thermostat?

Eureka’s National Weather Service Office reports that its about to get awfully warm around the Emerald Triangle this week.

NWS.

Starting Monday, areas of eastern Humboldt and Mendocino County will see warm temperatures between the mid 80s and low 90s. Warm!

These warm conditions are expected to last throughout the warm work week.

Eureka is also forecast for warm sunny skies this week, but will see milder temperatures in the mid 60s and low 70s.

As an added bonus, LoCO has discovered that if you say “warm” enough times in a row you begin to realize that it technically doesn’t count as a word. Do with this what you will.

A big warmup is coming to NW California. Models are showing warm air will be moving into the area this upcoming work week, replacing the cool airmass in place. Southern Mendocino County including Ukiah will see high temperatures rising to the low 90s from Monday through Wednesday, then remaining in the upper 80s for Thursday and Friday.
