UPDATE, 11/5: Jesus’ family reports that he is home safe.

Original Post: The Outpost was contacted by concerned family members of Jesus Tejeda, a missing 14-year-old Eureka High School student who was last seen while being dropped off on campus the morning of Friday Oct. 27. A family member we talked to described Jesus as “very shy.” He also goes by the nickname “Chuy.” He is described as follows:
- Age: 14
- Sex: Male
- Ethnicity: Hispanic
- Height: 5‘9”
- Weight: 170lbs
- Eyes: Brown (with glasses)
- Hair: Thick brown
- Clothes: Last seen wearing a black jacket with a gray hood, dark blue jeans and a grayish backpack.
His family reported finding evidence in his room suggesting that he may be headed to either Central California or Reno, Nevada.
Jesus has been reported as a missing person to the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office (Case # 2017-05335) Anyone with information on Jesus’ whereabouts is encouraged to contact HCSO at 445-7251.
