As a disturbance develops near the Bay Area, periods of gusty winds are expected for a large portion of the region, especially on Sunday and Monday. These winds will predominately be from the northeast to east, even near the coast where offshore winds are likely. Relative humidity values will drop, especially during the afternoon hours across all of northwestern California. Please avoid the use of any open flame, and follow the suggestions listed in the graphic above, as any fire that develops could spread rapidly.
