Though spring had sprung early, eh? Nope. Once again Humboldt reminds us that every moment of sunshine is a precious gift.

Meteorologists at Eureka’s National Weather Service office predict several inches of snow will fall across Humboldt, Del Norte, and Trinity Counties this weekend.

Snow is expected to fall at elevations as low as 2,000 feet, with areas like Berry Summit seeing between 1 and 2 inches of powder.

Snowfall is forecast to clear up by Sunday evening. Costal areas meanwhile, can expect stinky old rain between tomorrow night and Monday.
