Lumberjack left tackle Alex Cappa was given the honor of starting for the South Team during today’s Reese’s Senior Bowl.

Cappa started at left guard, but has played hefty minutes at left tackle as well.

After impressing scouts all week during Senior Bowl practices, Cappa has had both good and bad moments during the first half of today’s game.

Cappa has allowed two sacks during the contest, but has also set up some nice plays for his offense, including a lofty 73-yard touchdown pass.

So far, the South is winning 18-3. We will continue to update Cappa’s progress in the second half.
