Charlotte Corrine (Olson) Horn was born on July 29, 1941, in Hettinger, North Dakota. She and her family settled in Eureka in 1960, and Charlotte raised three children — Shawnette Olson, Karlene Horn and Kevin Horn. She was a grandmother to eight grandchildren — Roger Horn, Anthony Rodermund, Leroy Sims, Bryan Sims, Solene Allen, Nicole Brewer, Justin Horn and Drake Horn. She also had five great-grandchildren — Roma Allen, Adia Sims, Felix Allen, Colt Sims, and Carson Brewer

Charlotte’s parents, Einar and Rose Olson, raised a large family with 12 children — Marvin Wilson, Jim Wilson (deceased), Mona Holt (deceased), Richard Olson, Veronica Ward, Martha Tilley (deceased) , Johnny Olson, Paulette Papageorge, Patty Nichols, Larry Olson, and Merle Olson.

Charlotte loved collecting antiques and glassware.  She was a previous business owner of Kit n Kabootle in downtown Eureka. She was also a private housekeeper. Family and friends will miss her fiery personality and joy of debate.

The family requests that any donations be made to the American Cancer Society in remembrance of Charlotte.
