Crescent City Police Department:
On 6-29-2018 at about 2110 hours, A CCPD officer conducted a traffic stop in the area of Jordan and Hoover.
The driver, 31-year-old Justin Carr of Crescent City, was determined to be on active POST RELEASE COMMUNITY SUPERVISION (PRCS) for HS 11378 (possession of a controlled substance for sales).
K9 Kai alerted to the presence of narcotics in the vehicle and Carr had unrestricted search terms.
A search of the vehicle yielded $2,224.00 US Currency, approximately 5.1 grams of suspected methamphetamine, packaging material and a digital scale.
Carr was placed under arrest for HS 11378 (Possession of a controlled substance for sales) HS 11379 (transportation of a controlled substance for sales) PC 3455 (violation of PRCS) and other drug related charges.
Carr was booked into the DNSO Jail and placed on a PRCS hold.
