Missing Person Jon Winkleman was located today around 2:45 p.m. near the 1900 block of Broadway.  A citizen recognized him from the news release.

The Eureka Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating an at risk missing person. Jon Ray Winkleman, 50 of Eureka, (also spelled Winkelman) was reported as missing on July 23, 2018.

Winkleman was last seen on July 23, 2018 around 11 p.m. near the 2300 block of Buhne Street in Eureka. He was possibly spotted on July 24, 2018 around 5:15 p.m. hitchhiking hear 6th and V Streets in Eureka.

Winkleman is described as a white male, 6’ tall, 215 pounds, blond hair, and blue eyes.

Anyone with information on Winkleman’s location is asked to call the Eureka Police Department at (707) 441-4044 or your local law enforcement agency.
