Drug Task Force Arrests Eureka Man in Possession of Meth, Heroin After Tip from Concerned Citizen
Humboldt County Drug Task Force press release:
On June 28th, 2018, at about 9:00 P.M. special agents with the Humboldt County Drug Task Force
conducted surveillance and executed a search warrant in the 100 block of Highland Street in Eureka. Agents
became aware of this issue due to a tip from a concerned citizen. Upon service of the search warrant agents
located 34 year-old Anthony Pratt Jr.
Special Agents located approximately 5.5 pounds of methamphetamine, 5 grams of heroin, $4,000 in
U.S. currency and one firearm in Pratt’s possession and inside the residence. Special agents placed Anthony
Pratt Jr. under arrest for possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance for sales,
possession of a controlled substance and a loaded firearm, and felon in possession of a firearm.
Anthony Pratt Jr. was transported to the Humboldt County Correctional facility where he was booked
for the above listed charges.
