From the Humboldt County Drug Task Force:
Based on a month long investigation, Special Agents with the Drug Task Force were granted a search warrant for 34 year old Victor Sandoval, his vehicle and his residence located in the 700 block of W. Buhne Street in Eureka. On Friday March, 16th at about 9:00 P.M. Agents located Sandoval’s vehicle on Rohnerville Road near Hwy 36 in Hydesville.
Agents watched as Sandoval exited his vehicle and began walking across Rohnerville Road. At this time Agents detained Sandoval and found him to be in possession of approximately ½ pound of suspected heroin. Agents searched his vehicle pursuant to the search warrant and located Sandoval’s wife, 30 year old Sandra Sandoval.
Agents responded to the Sandoval residence where they found an additional ½ pound of suspected heroin. In addition they located cutting agents, a digital scale and other items associated with the sales of a narcotic.
Victor was arrested for possession of a narcotic for sale, transportation of a narcotic and maintaining a residence for the purposes of distributing a narcotic. He was booked into the Correctional Facility for the above listed charges.
Sandra was not arrested, however Agents will be seeking a warrant for her arrest for possession of a narcotic for sale, transportation of a narcotic and maintaining a residence for the purposes of distributing a narcotic.
