Power out.

UPDATE, 8:47 a.m.: PG&E’s Deanna Contreras tells us that power has been restored.

###

“There is no school today at Klamath Trinity Joint Unified School District due to power outage,” writes Trisha Cisneros, KTJUSD public information officer, to the Outpost in an email this morning.

The LoCO Blackout-bot tells us that power went down along most of the Highway 96 corridor at around 5 a.m. Over 2,000 households are without juice. The most recent update, as of this writing, is that PG&E personnel are on scene but have not yet determined a cause.

You can follow PG&E’s progress at this link.

Again: No school today in the K-T.
