A Eureka man arrested in April following an investigation into alleged sexual abuse of a minor is back in custody today with new charges.
Andrew Jarrod Cunningham, 39, was arrested on April 24, 2018, on charges of child molestationand continuous sexual abuse of a minor, following a month-long investigation. In addition to his
arrest, at that time investigators with a search warrant seized Cunningham’s computers for a

child pornography images.
On May 24, 2018, at about 1 p.m., Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office deputies served an arrest
warrant for Cunningham at a residence on the 1900 block of Madrone Ave. in Eureka.
Cunningham, who was out on bail for his previous charges, was taken into custody without
incident.
Cunningham was booked on fresh charges of possession of more than 600 images of child
pornography with 10 or more of those images involving a minor under the age of 12. His bail is
set at $500,000.
