If you’re planning on going to the beach this Memorial Day Weekend, maybe bring a kite and a jacket.
Eureka’s National Weather Service office reports that gale-force gusts will be possible along the Humboldt Coast on Sunday and Memorial Day.
The strong winds should also make for rough seas.
“Steep seas will build in response to the robust winds and approach 10 to 13 feet late in the weekend,” the NWS said on Facebook. “Use the forecast to make your marine plans and check the buoys before venturing out.”
