Marsha Louise (Mish) Lewis
August 21st, 1942 to November 9th, 2018

Mish passed away Friday, Nov. 9, at 76, with her family all around her, after a short but courageous battle with cancer.

She was preceded in death by her parents, father Bronson Miller and mother Eleanor Dean Pozar; brothers-in-law Frank, Earl and Leland Lewis; and mother- and father-in-law Harold and Margaret Lewis.

She is survived by her husband, Dennis Lewis; brother Tim Pozar (Sue and Ben), sister Kim Marie Gaye (Carmie and Kythe); sister-in-law Lurline Moore (Randy and family); daughters Julie Scarlett (James), Caitlin Russell (Leonard); grandsons Matthew, Robert, Dakota, and Brendan; and honorary daughters Sarah and Uvea.

Mish was born in Vallejo in 1942. In spring of 1973, following her divorce, she took her two young daughters to Humboldt County for vacation and never left. In 1989 Mish was introduced to Dennis L. Lewis, the love of her life,  at a party. He gave her a foot rub and the rest is history. They had 30 wonderful years together.

There will be a celebration of life for Mish on Dec. 8 at Beginnings in Briceland, from noon to 4 p.m. Please bring a potluck side dish.
