The Eureka Police Department passes on a release from their fellow folks in blue at the Santa Rosa Police Department who are looking for a bank robbery suspect they believe has a Humboldt connection. From EPD:
The Santa Rosa Police Department is investigating a bank robbery that occurred on November 20th, 2018. The suspect appears to be the same subject who has robbed a bank in Ukiah and Cloverdale in the last several months.
The Santa Rosa Police Department has developed a possible nexus between the suspect and Humboldt County. If any citizen has information on the suspect please contact the Santa Rosa Police Department with that information.

EPD doesn’t clarify whether or not the Humboldt connection extends beyond the very obvious Redwood Curtain Brewery sweatshirt worn by the suspect in the released security camera footage, but maybe that’s enough. More details on the bank robber’s latest heist from the Santa Rosa Police Department in the release below:
On Monday, November 20th, 2018, at about 3:30 PM, Officers from the Santa Rosa Police Department responded to a robbery that had just occurred at the Exchange Bank, located at 2201 Mendocino Ave. in Santa Rosa. Officers learned that a man walked into the bank with a note demanding money. After receiving an unknown amount of cash from the teller, he walked out of the bank and left in a vehicle. The vehicle was described as a newer black sedan. No weapon was seen and no one in the bank was injured.
The suspect was described as an unknown race in his 20s with long hair, and a beard with a mustache. He was wearing a dark colored jacket over a dark colored sweatshirt, and a baseball hat. A security camera photograph of the suspect is attached to this press release.
A reward up to $2,500 is being offered by the Sonoma County Alliance “Take Back Our Community Program.” The reward is for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect involved in this robbery.
