Just a friendly reminder that harbor seal pupping season is upon us here in Humboldt and Del Norte counties.

If you find a seal pup on the beach, please do NOT touch it! Please keep your distance and keep all pets leashed. Most likely its mom is foraging offshore and knows exactly where she left her pup and she will not return for it if people and/or animals are near.
