At around 4:00 p.m. today the Eureka Police Department responded to a call about a possibly deceased individual in a parked vehicle on the 300 block of D Street in Eureka.

Sgt. Terry Liles of the EPD told the Outpost that officers arrived and called for an ambulance. The individual was pronounced dead and the Humboldt County Coroner responded and removed the body.

This is still an ongoing investigation, Liles said, and no more information is available at this time.
