(VIDEO) Eureka Police Department Launches Upbeat New Video Series to Highlight Its Employees’ Work
Eureka Police Department release:
In an effort to provide greater insight into the Eureka Police Department (EPD) and the
dedicated men and women who work here, EPD will be periodically releasing an ongoing
series of short videos titled EPD in the Community.
The videos will profile a variety of EPD members and showcase the jobs they do and
their perspectives on policing in our community.
“We are law enforcement officers, but
also so much more. We are members of this community too—mothers, fathers, brothers,
sisters, sons and daughters. It is my hope these videos will help ‘humanize the badge’ by
informing the public about the amazing and caring people who work here on their behalf,
who they are and what they do,” said Chief Steve Watson.
New videos will be posted periodically and hosted on the EPD YouTube channel. Videos will also be shared on our various social media pages.
The first video in the series features Ranger Dennis Gagnon. We think you will
appreciate the compassion, care, and creative thinking Ranger Gagnon demonstrates as
he protects and serves our community. Watch his video here.
