Ferndale parents should plan to keep the kiddos home tomorrow and make arrangements accordingly. Because of the massive flooding in the area and unsafe road conditions, Ferndale High School and Elementary School will be closed Thursday, Feb. 28.

A message from the Ferndale Unified School District:

Due to road closures, a lack of time for road inspections, inability for buses to make routes and wide spread flooding, to ensure the safety of our students, families and employees; Ferndale High School and Elementary School will be closed on Thursday, February 28th. School will resume as regularly scheduled on Friday. Please be safe. Thank you.
