This week’s storm is taking its toll on human movement. Thursday morning the Humboldt County Office of Emergency Services announced that the U.S. Coast Guard has decided to close Humboldt Bay Harbor entrance, Noyo Harbor, and Crescent City Harbor due to seas breaking at 20 feet or greater.
OES also notes that weather has impacted the following roads:
- Centerville Rd is closed at the beach due to flooding.
- Blue Slide Rd is closed at MM 1.33 due to a power line down.
- Avenue of the Giants is closed at PM 41.15 due to flooding.
Caltrans is advising motorists to drive with increased caution today due to the chance of hail.
