A tough June schedule didn’t get any easier for the Humboldt Crabs this week, with a mid-week two-game series at the Healdsburg Prune Packers getting under way on Wednesday night.

And the Crabs continued to struggle in a 7-0 loss.

The game was close for much of the night, with the home team scoring six runs in the sixth and seventh innings to pull away.

The Crabs managed just four hits in the loss, one each from Kokko Figueiredo, Dawson Bacho, Daniel Carrizosa and Jalen Smith.

Tyler Condie took the loss on the mound.

With the loss, the Crabs dropped to 5-9.

The two clubs will complete their two-game stand on Thursday night, before the Crabs travel to Lincoln to play the Potters over the weekend.
