DTF Drug Dog Sniffs Out Heroin During Traffic Stop in Eureka

Humboldt County Drug Task Force release:
On March 11th , 2019, at approximately 9:45 p.m., Special Agents with the Humboldt County Drug Task
Force conducted a traffic stop in the 900 block of 6th Street, Eureka. Agents previously identified Dixie
Lee Holder (age 55) as a narcotics dealer in Humboldt County and obtained a search warrant for her
vehicle and residence.

Holder was detained without incident and her vehicle was searched. With the assistance of a narcotic
detection K9 from the Humboldt County District Attorney’s Office, agents located approximately 8 ounces
of suspected heroin packaged for sales.
Agents then served a search warrant at Holder’s residence located in the 1800 block of Buhne Drive, King
Salmon. At this location agents located approximately 1 ounce of suspected methamphetamine.
Holder was subsequently arrested and transported to the Humboldt County Correctional Facility where
she was booked for transportation and possessing of controlled substances for sales.
