By Ray Hamill – The weather continues to take its toll on the local baseball schedule, with the Eureka Loggers canceling two games this weekend.
The Eureka boys were scheduled to play at Ignacio Vally on Friday and at Sonoma Valley on Saturday, but both games were canceled due to the rain.
The Loggers, who have yet to play a home game, are 3-3 and have now had games canceled on two of the past three weekends.
They are scheduled to host St. Bernard’s on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m.
In the meantime, the Loggers will host a fundraiser bowling tournament on Sunday at Harbor Lanes in Eureka.
The Logger Madness tournament gets under way at 1 p.m.
