A Eureka woman was killed in a motorcycle crash in Fairfield, Calif. Wednesday after the driver reportedly lost control on Highway 80.

The Solano County Coroner’s Office has identified the woman as 55-year-old Mary Hadley.

SFGate reports that Hadley was riding on the back of a Harley-Davidson being driven by 47-year-old Stephen Chiara of Fairfield at the time of the crash.

Both riders were reportedly thrown form the vehicle and taken to NorthBay Medical Center, where Hadley was later pronounced dead.

Chiara reportedly suffered major injuries and was arrested for driving under the influence.
