The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office needs the public’s help to locate a missing 4-year-old girl.

Ariana Bemis-Eib, 4, of Orick, was reported missing by her father on May 15, 2019, at about 8:30 p.m. after she failed to return from a scheduled visitation with her mother.

According to her father, on May 14 at about 8 p.m. Bemis-Eib went on an overnight custody visitation with her mother, 37-year-old Delisse Lalee Jones. Jones failed to bring Bemis-Eib to daycare the following morning, as previously agreed upon as terms of the visitation.

A vehicle associated with Jones was located nearby her last known residence in the Eureka area. Attempts to contact Jones have been unsuccessful.

This case is being investigated as a child custody concealment case. Jones does not have legal custody of Bemis-Eib and is in violation of a custody order.

Ariana Bemis-Eib is described as a white female child, approximately 3 feet 6 inches tall, 50 pounds, with blue eyes and dirty blonde hair.

Delisse Lalee Jones is described as a white female adult, approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall, 215 pounds, with blue eyes and brown hair.

Jones is believed to be associated with a 1997 Green Chevy pick up truck, with a California license plate of 7Z43180.
