A new music video from the local hip-hop group City Hippie.

Humboldt has a new hip-hop song about materialism just in time for the holidays.

Humboldt-based hip-hop group City Hippie released this locally-filmed music video (above) on Friday for its new song “Bussdown.”

“Founded in 2017, City Hippie is a group of creatives who currently reside in Humboldt County, an area known for sprawling redwood trees and perfect cannabis growing climate,” the group’s Soundcloud page states. “From writing, recording, producing, and engineering in-house, the group compels a harmonious vibe, in which, each artist is to be distinctly recognized.”
