Mike was
born on September 5, 1948 to Weldon and Betty Selby in
Watsonville. Mike passed away on October 15, 2019 at the age of
71.
Mike was a lifelong resident of California. He spent most of his life in Eureka. He graduated from Eureka High in 1966, then joined the military and served In the Vietnam War. He was proud of his military service. He had a lot of friends at the Veterans Hall. He was also an avid collector of memorabilia of all kinds. The family will not hold any services. Donations can be made to the local VFW and the American Cancer Society .
He leaves behind his mother, Betty Selby; his sister Terry Selby (Aguiar) of Eureka; brother Bruce and his wife Marilyn Selby of Modesto; brother Keith Selby of Eureka; sister Elisa Selby Wilson of Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Mike was a loving uncle to Michael Aguiar, Jennifer Selby, Lori Selby, John Wilson and Kelly Wilson. Mike was a greatuncle to Caleb, Sabrina, Aaron, Brandon, Kimberly, Maritza, Hannah, Joseph, Emma, Ella, Hunter and Jaylee.
Mike was preceded in death by his grandmother Elisabeth Runnels, father Weldon Selby and brother-in-law Kim Wilson.
