UPDATE, 1:30 p.m.: The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office has released a photo and additional information pertaining to the search for 77-year-old McKinleyville resident Stanley Conner:
An update to our earlier Silver Alert post.
We are still looking for 77-year-old Stanley Conner, who wandered from his McKinleyville Home on the afternoon of September 11.
Conner was spotted at the Les Schwab Tire Center in McKinleyville shortly after leaving his home. Conner was also seen at the Red Roof Inn in Arcata.

The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating Stanley James Conner, age 77 of McKinleyville.
Conner wandered from his home on the 2500 block of Central Ave. on Wednesday, September 11, at about 5 p.m. Conner’s wife had contacted the Sheriff’s Office around the time of his disappearance and contacted again at a later time to file a missing person report.
Conner is a white male, approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall, approximately 135 pounds with gray hair and blue eyes. Conner and his wife recently moved to Humboldt County from Nevada, so he is unfamiliar with the area.
Conner may exhibit confusion as a result of suffering multiple strokes. He was last seen on foot in the area of 2500 Central Ave. and was wearing a light green flannel shirt, blue jeans, and a black baseball cap. Conner was seen carrying a duffel bag.
