Two local soccer standouts scored on Tuesday afternoon to lead the College of the Redwoods women’s soccer team to a 3-0 win at Yuba.

Former McKinleyville star Jaycee Morais scored one of the goals and assisted on another, setting up former Eureka Logger Athena Miller.

Amy Reyes assisted on Morais’ goal, while Alysa Zavata set up Adriana Catana for the Corsairs’ third goal of the game.

The CR women improved to 4-2 and will host Feather River next Tuesday at 11 a.m.
