Ray Hamill/HumboldtSports.com – Arcata co-captain Zoe Leonard heads the ball clear against South Fork on Wednesday.
A pivotal H-DNL girls soccer showdown in the race to keep pace with the Eureka Loggers has been rescheduled for Monday.

Fortuna and Arcata, the two teams most likely to halt the Eureka charge this season, will meet in a make-up game at Arcata High at 5 p.m.
The game was originally scheduled to take place last week, but had to be postponed due to thunder and lightning in the area and a flash flood on the field.
The Huskies are 3-0 on the season, one win behind the 4-0 Loggers, who are the two-time defending H-DNL champions and have not lost a league game since early September 2017.
The two teams will play twice in October.
The Tigers, meanwhile, are 2-1, with their one loss coming against Eureka in a tight affair last weekend.
The Arcata girls will have a busy few days, with McKinleyville also coming to town on Saturday for a rivalry matchup at 3 p.m.
