Reggae legend Don Carlos is supposed to show up too. But he’s, um, late.

UPDATE, 4:24 p.m.: The hosts inform us that Don Carlos has wandered off for the moment. They seem to have hopes that he will wander back, but G. Love has agreed to fill in with an extended set for the time being.

UPDATE, 4:46 p.m.: SHOCKER — Don Carlos will not make it. According to the hosts of this thing he says he “sends his regrets,” which sounds just like something Don Carlos would say.

UPDATE, 5:19 p.m.: Correction! The Humboldt County Growers Alliance’s Natalynne DeLapp tells us that there were many more people tuned into the Zoom call on Zoom itself — more than were on the Facebook simulcast. It was a truly mighty event!

Also, not all of the people watching the Facebook simulcast were growers, it turns out! DeLapp sends proof that Supervisor Rex Bohn and Gregg Foster of the Redwood Region Economic Development Commission also peeked in on the show.
