Press release from the Humboldt County Drug Task Force:

On August 17th, 2020, special agents with the Humboldt County Drug Task Force (HCDTF), with assistance from the Eureka Police Department POP Team, and the Arcata Police Department, served a search warrant in the 2300 block of Fieldbrook Rd. in Fieldbrook. Agents had obtained a search warrant after identifying this property as a “stash location” for a local Drug Trafficking Organization (DTO).

Agents detained several people in multiple buildings on the property without incident. HCDTF K9-Bodhi conducted a search of the property and alerted to the presence of narcotics in a garage of a vacant house. Agents searched the area identified by K9-Bodhi and located 3.75 pounds of methamphetamine hidden behind cabinets. Agents located smaller amounts of methamphetamine in two other structures on the property.

The primary suspect was not on scene during the service of this search warrant. This is an on-going investigation and Agents will be requesting charges be filed by the Humboldt County District Attorney for all suspects identified as involved in this DTO.

Anyone with information related to this investigation or other narcotics related crimes are encouraged to call the Humboldt County Drug Task Force at 707-267-9976.
