Virginia Delight Gutshall was born July 28,1949 in St. Louis, Mo., departed January 24, 2020 after a long battle with COPD. She was the eighth of nine children, raised by her mother Maudene Cook and Gilvan Cook (Pappy).

As a child she enjoyed camping, visiting relatives, celebrating holidays with family and sticking close to her mom. She grew to love owls, motorcycles, playing cards, Pier 31, coffee, her family and her dogs. She was a graduate of Ganesha High School. She remained friends with many of her former classmates.

Formerly married to Thomas Gutshall. Mother to Anne Diaz, Janice Gutshall and Robyn Gutshall. Grandmother to Jenna Terada, Louie Terada, Jasmine Diaz, Lucinda Diaz, Elora Diaz and Aly Reynolds. Sarah Gardner is a honorary granddaughter, along with many other children who have been a part of her life.

She worked at Starbucks for many years as a trained barista, and retired when she became too ill with COPD. She then became a full-time grandma. She loved her riding around in her scooter, wearing flashy hats and anything Ed Hardy. The last few years Lucinda and Jasmine have cared for her and her dog. They have always shared a great deal of love with each other. Many hearts and lives were touched by her love and acceptance of others. She will be greatly missed.
