The brand new music video for “Frozen.” | City Hippie
After receiving a strong response to their last track, “Bussdown,” Humboldt-based rap group City Hippie is back with a brand new, locally-filmed music video.
“Our first official video of 2020 is here!” the group announced on YouTube. “If you haven’t heard of us yet, you’re gonna want to learn the name soon because we’re going full grind mode all 2020!”
The video for their new song “Frozen” was released yesterday in 4K, Ultra-HD quality and features scenes from Trinidad State Beach and Horse Mountain.
The music video was directed by local videographer and friend of LoCO Quinn Murdy, who tells us that the group shot the entire thing in one day.
City Hippie also released a new single titled “Piña Colada” last month as part of the group’s promise to release one new song or music video every month this year.
Check out the video above and remember to never sell your soul for a mother fuckin’ bussdown, or whatever.
