The College of the Redwoods men’s basketball team treated a large, loud and enthusiastic home crowd to a thrilling showdown with Butte on Saturday afternoon, as the Corsairs edged out the Roadrunners 89-81 in overtime.

Donald Willis was inspirational in the win, directing his teammates and causing a good Butte defense problems all night, particularly when driving to the basket.

Likewise with Drew Gillette, who along with Isaac Puzz stepped up in overtime to help secure the win.
