Brenda Kay Hale, 63, of Blue Lake.

Born in Garberville to Sylvia and Albert Hale on February 5, 1957, she lived her entire life in Humboldt County. Most of those years she lived in Blue Lake. For several years she worked at the Logger Bar.

She graduated from Eureka High School.

Brenda was a caring individual, who always tried to help others whenever possible. Brenda enjoyed spending time with friends and playing pool. She was very handy and loved to crochet using plastic shopping bags. Brenda also enjoyed watching football and rooting for her favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother and her twin sister Barbara Lynn Thompson.

She is survived by her son Brian Hale, sister Nelda Holcomb, brother James Hale, grandson Logan Hale, and granddaughterKyla Hale. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

A private memorial service will be held to honor her memory, no flowers please, to honor her memory please take a moment to do a random act of kindness for someone you don’t know or someone in need, in honor of her memory.
