Last night, shortly after the county announced that another local person had tested positive for the COVID-19 virus, Wildberries Marketplace in Arcata posted a message on its Facebook page to tell customers that one of its team members had been diagnosed with the virus.

The store said that the employee had little to no contact with customers, and is now at home on paid leave, according to the store. Other employees who were in contact with the person who tested positive are working with the county’s Public Health division, and the store did a “full store cleanup” overnight.
