The Sequoia Park Zoo has announced that it will reopen to the general public next week.

The news comes one week after Humboldt County Health Officer Dr. Teresa Frankovich announced that businesses in industry sectors with state-provided guidance could begin reopening.

“We are pleased to announce we have been given permission by the County Health Department to RE-OPEN on July 7th to the general public!” the zoo shared on social media.

The zoo says it will also allow members to make online reservations to visit the zoo as early as Friday.
