What were all those sirens in Eureka a few moments ago, you wonder? Well, as happens on occasion, someone mowed down a fire hydrant, this one on Wabash near Costco, providing onlookers with a glorious water spout with which to momentarily cleanse their brain of whatever had been troubling them previously.

The driver of the vehicle responsible is reportedly OK. The gushing has been subdued.
