Humboldt Redwoods Sate Park Naturalist John “Griff” Griffith is back again with another informative redwood-side chat.

In today’s episode of (what the Outpost is calling) “Riffin’ With the Griff,” Griff talks about the mountain lion sighting in Utah that went viral this week. He also discusses how the encounter has been misrepresented in the media as a “stalking.”

“That was not a mountain-lion stalking, that was a mama mountain lion trying to get someone away from her cubs,” Griffith says in the video. “There’s a difference.”
