Press release from the County of Humboldt:

A plane carrying OptumServe staff was delayed this morning by fog and smoke—no surprise to anyone who has ever tried to fly in or out of the Arcata-Eureka Airport this time of year. Last we heard, the plane was in Medford, Ore., and staff are hopeful they’ll be able to open for testing after lunch.

OptumServe notified the COVID-19 Emergency Operations Center this morning that testing at the Redwood Acres test site would be delayed. OptumServe also said that clients impacted by the delay will be contacted to reschedule. There is an OptumServe employee on site currently notifying people of the delay. Please contact OptumServe directly foradditional information.
