Local MMA fighter Cass Bell weighed-in today for his pro bout tomorrow with Jornel Lugo at Bellator 256 at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut.

Bell hold a professional record fo 5-1 after suffering his first loss last July against Raufeon Stots. His impressive pro performances recently earned him the ranking of eighth best bantamweight fighter in Bellator. His undefeated opponent Lugo (5-0) is currently ranked 10th.

“Bellator rankings [have] me at number eight, which is pretty awesome [for] a poor kid with a single amazing mother Shawna Bell and five siblings growing up in Humboldt County,” Bell shared on his social media page. “Just to be able to be in the top 10! We still have a lot of work to do before becoming the champion but I am down for the challenge.”

Bell’s fight will air live on Showtime and the Showtime app sometime between 3 and 6 p.m.
