51-Year-Old Eureka Man Arrested After Trafficking Investigation, Drug Task Force Says
From the Humboldt County Drug Task Force:
On August 25th, 2021 agents with the
Humboldt County Drug Task Force (HCDTF) served a search warrant on a
residence in the 2900 block of Dolbeer St. in Eureka. This warrant
was the result of multiple neighbor complaints of suspected drug
dealing from the residence. During the service of the search warrant
agents located approx. 2 ounces of methamphetamine, digital scales,
and packaging. Agents arrested the resident, William
Mark Melton (51 years old).
Melton
was booked at the Humboldt County Jail for the following charges:
H&S 11378 Possession of
methamphetamine for sale
H&S 11366.5 Operating or
maintaining a drug house
PC 12022.1 Committing a felony while
out on bail
