Eureka Police Department press release:

On June 28, 2021, 32-year-old Kiera Lynn Foley was reported as a missing person under suspicious circumstances. She was reported to be last seen in Eureka with her dog in April of 2021.

Over the last six months, The Eureka Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Section (CIS) has been collaborating with multiple law enforcement agencies and interviewing dozens of friends and family of Kiera.

Based on the known facts and information collected, EPD CIS Investigators determined that Kiera was murdered in Eureka in April 2021 by 40-year-old Jason Michael Miller, aka “Crow.”

Numerous search efforts have been made; however, Kiera’s body has not been located. Earlier today, Miller was arrested for the murder of Kiera Lynn Foley.

Miller has been in custody since June of 2021 on unrelated charges. This investigation is ongoing and it is not too late to come forward with information on what happened to Kiera or the whereabouts of her body.

Previous EPD press release from June 28, 2021:

32-year-old Kiera Lynn Foley was reported as a missing person to the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) by a family member. Foley is believed to be missing under unknown circumstances.

HCSO issued a press release on June 30, 2021 asking for the public’s assistance. Based on information received thus far, it was determined that the Eureka Police Department would assume the lead on the investigation.

It is believed that Foley was last seen in Eureka in early April of 2021. Foley was last seen with her black and brown long-haired Chihuahua.

Foley is described as a white female, approximately 5’3”, 125 pounds, with brown eyes, and brown hair possibly dyed blond.
